Your Mer-tastic | Crafty Stamp Co | June Release

 Welcome to Crafty Stamp Co. June Preorder Event !

Today I’m sharing a card made with the adorable Finned Friends stamp set from the upcoming June release. I absolutely love that this set includes a masculine character — perfect for those harder-to-make guy cards!

I pulled out my Copic Markers. I’ll admit — coloring hair still scares me a bit, but I gave it a try… and love how it turned out! And that tail? Wow! I can see my coloring skills improving and it makes me so happy.

For the background, I used a sheet from the new Shark Bait 6x6 paper pad, which I embossed with a sea-themed folder from Spellbinders. It matched beautifully! I softly blended the edges to coordinate with the polka dot pattern that peeks through a scalloped oval I die-cut in the center.

Everything was mounted on a white A2 card base, the beautiful mermaid was placed diagonally in the center and added the cute little goldfish from the set popped up to the side. The sentiment “You’re Mer-tastic!” was added in the top corner as a banner. A few clear sequins finished the look.
