World's Greatest Dad

Hello and Welcome!

Today I would like to share a very cut and simple card I created for Father's Day
(here in DR is at the end of July)

to create this card I follow this old Mojo Sketch
I found scrolling thru @pinterest

Here's my take
I started with a white base 4.5" x 5.25", used some left over on my scrap pile
cut the dangle for the background and the orange and green pieces too.

I used my Scalloped Nestabilities from Spellbinders to cut the circle using white cardstock, all pieces were attached to the card base using white foam for the raise effect.

Sentiments are from the set Greatest Dad from Papertrey Ink .
Using my Versa Mark and Black embossing powder inked the tie with the sentiment DAD; Memento ink for the card base sentinment.

I hope you'll be inspired to get creative.

Hello SweetCAKE Mini Album !

Hello and Welcome to my Blog!
Today I would love to share with you a fun and easy way to use our left over scrap pile pieces.

I started with 5 scalloped circle, cuted using my Spellbinders Nestabilities; used some pieces left over from unknown collections.  After I had the 5 scalloped circles.
I started decorating each layer of the circles.

some added some cut out found on my scrap pile over my desk, then from the same collection found cut out some pieces; torned some pieces add it to the circles.

ribbon and threads were also add it,

decorate both layers of the circles until you are completely satisfied and then just add some

ribbon and embellishments to the front of the Mini Album.  Then add all of the circles to the ring of aproximate 2" inches;  I made this cute tassels using some rainbow thread from a previous work and finished it off  as a main focal point with the cute message "Hello Sweetcake" from the unknow pieces I found on my scrap pile.

The idea for this easy Mini Album was from a post on Instagram from @bambidearr, if you want to check out her profile.  She has some great ideas!

I hope you'll be inspired to get creative.

CAKE TOPPER - Feliz CumpleaƱos Mama !

Hello and Welcome to my Blog!
Today I would love to share with you this cute
CAKE TOPPER
I created for a Mama's birthday!

this is a perfect combination Red and Gold with the leaves and the flowers.

Here's a step by step how I designed and create this cutie.

1. Make the sketch of how I wanted to look the final version of my caketopper.

2. Find all the pieces: flowers, leaves, circles and the message.  I used some of the designs on my library on my Silhouette Studio and arranged them how I wanted them.

3. Make a compound path of the whole item and the proceed to cut each piece using my Silhouette Cameo : flowers, leaves and circles on both colors - red and them gold!

4. I rolled all the flowers and inked the edges of the petals and the leaves were all curved.

5. With all the pieces the assembly was what follow- arrange them.

6. The circles were glued using foam dots for the depth, the leaves and then all the rolled flowers.

Finally added the bamboo sticks to the sides and voula, CAKE TOPPER done!

I hope you'll be inspired to get creative.
