Hello and Welcome to my Blog!

Join me this time, I was inspired by challenge #597 from the Color Dare Challenge Blog, and I love the result!

Using the color palette featuring (3) hues like Ballerina, Sundance and Limeade, along use gold and white!

For this cute card, I used the Sketch for this week #632 at "Freshly Made Sketches",  using  "Layered Floral" die set by Spellbinders to cut out pieces and craft the Floral in Limeade, Ballerina and Sundance. The front panel was embossed on Sundance cardstock using "Floating Flowers" embossing folder from the kit of april from Simon Says Stamps.

All the pieces were put together to create this lovely double front panel in white and gold. Here's a closer look :

then using the Glimmer Hot Foil System from Spellbinders, I Hot Stamping in Gold the Happy Birthday sentiment using "All you need Sentiments" from the Gimmer of the month from Spellbinders. The card base was 5"x5".

I thoroughly enjoyed crafting this card using this color combination and the textures...

Have a Great Birthday! {Color Dare Challenge #595}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!

Join me with my latest creation! This time, I was inspired by challenge #595 from the Color Dare Challenge Blog, and the result is this adorable and cute Bunny!

Using the color palette featuring hues like Flamingo, Sage and Glacier, I decide to craft a cute and simple Bunny card!

For this beautiful card, I used the "Floating Bunny" die set by Spellbinders to cut out pieces and craft this adorable Bunny in pink, gray, white, and black. The front panel was embossed on Sage and Flamingo colored cardstock using Spellbinders' Classic Backdrop embossing folder, then cut in half to complete the panel. Here's a closer look at the Bunny:

Balloons were cut out in the 3 selected shades using the dies from the set. After having all the pieces cut and assembled, I mounted everything on a horizontal cream card base measuring 4.25” x 5.50”.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment "Have a Great Birthday" from Hero Arts in black ink, then cut it to resemble a message box.

I thoroughly enjoyed crafting this card using this color combination and the textures...  the bunny and balloons give this card a touch of simplicity yet delicacy!

Thanks for Always being there! { My Heart Color Dare #593}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!

Join me in the colorful world of handmade cardmaking with my latest creation! This time, I was inspired by challenge #593 from the Color My Heart Color Dare Blog, and the result is simply stunning!

With a color palette featuring hues like Honey, Royal, and Glacier, I decided to craft a masterpiece in the form of a card.

Playing with different thicknesses and shades of cardstock, I designed a diagonal border that adds a touch of dynamism and style to my card.

Using Nestabilities circle die from Spellbinders, I created a striking focal point on the front panel. Then, with the Sunflower stamp from Sunflower seeds set by Simon Says Stamp and VersaMark ink, we added a touch of elegance with gold embossing powder, which highlights every detail of this sunflower beautifully.

The message of gratitude couldn't be missing. With the same hot embossing technique, we stamped the words "Thanks" and "for always being there" from the Thankful Heart set by Simon Says Stamp, in black contrast that adds depth and sophistication.

Once our panel was complete, we carefully adhered it to a white card base, and voilà! As a the final touch, we added some rhinestones and transparent dots that further elevate the charm of my card.

Since I love this color combination and wanted to take advantage of the pieces left behind, I made this other card...

on this card I used the Circle die cut, I made on the previous card and add it as the focal point on the front panel, I used the Sunflower stamp only this time with white embossing powder; the panel was embossed using march Embossing folder "Swirling Blooms" from Spellbinders; the sentiment is from Sunflower seeds kit from Simon Says Stamps.

I am very delighted with the outcome of both cards, which are not only colorful and simple but also stands out for the attention to detail and delicacy of the techniques used.

In this blog post, I'll show you how I created a masculine, elegant card with a unique touch.

Using this color combination from the Color My Heart Color Dare #591

I used this die twice for the word "Happy" in navy blue to add some depth it, and the word "Birthday" in order to create a shadow and depth effect.

The inside is blank to write a congratulatory message, a meaningful memory, or an inspiring quote.

I really love the out come an elegant, masculine birthday card with a unique touch that will surely surprise the birthday boy.

Sending Love & Hugs - A Delightful Card with Simon Says Stamp!

Welcome, crafty enthusiasts!

Today, I'm so filled with excitement to share a card I created using the March Simon Says Stamp Kit. From the moment I received this kit full of goodies, I couldn't wait to get my hands inky and unleash my creativity!

This kit is a dream, packed with exclusive elements that will have you reaching for each piece to create a quite a few beautiful cards.

Here's a peek inside the kit:

Now, let's take flight with my card design!

Began by heat embossing the largest butterfly from the stamp set with gold embossing powder, creating a stunning metallic effect.

I used my Oxide Inks to ink blend the butterfly, adding vibrant hues and depth and using the wafer die, I cut out the butterfly. Set aside.

Cut out a 3.5" x 3.5" circle and embossed it with the Dibble Tile 3D embossing folder, adding a touch of texture. On a piece of white pearlescent cardstock, I stamped the sentiment "Sending love & hugs" from the stamp set using Memento gold ink.

a closer look of the supplies used:

I carefully layered the embossed circle and sentiment onto my card base, using a green border and aqua cardstock layer for added visual interest. Using double-sided foam adhesive, I popped the metallic butterfly onto the embossed circle, creating a beautiful focal point.

The sentiment was then placed below, and the green border added a finishing touch. To accentuate the card, I added a few rhinestones above the sentiment, adding a touch of sparkle.

Finally, I used Glossy Accents to highlight the butterfly's wings, adding an extra layer of shine and dimension.

I absolutely love how this card turned out!

It was a fantastic opportunity to practice my Oxide Inks Blending technique again, and I'm thrilled with the results.

Happy Birthday!!

Welcome to my Blog!

Today, I'm excited to share a card I created as part of my journey to improve my blending techniques. Blending has always presented a significant challenge for me, but I've embraced it as an opportunity for growth and skill development.

This particular card project allowed me to delve deeper into the art of blending, pushing myself to experiment and refine my skills.

It's all about embracing the process and learning along the way.

Here's my card

my card base is white vertically 4.25" x 5.5", I used the Embossing folder Petalos from Lora Bailora to make layer one using Pearl White CardStock, then for the second layer I used 3D PatchWork embossing folder from Spellbinders and then used my Oxide Inks to make the Blending background..... this was really a challenge... I wanted it to have the soft look and that you could see all the colors and the blend looked so subtle.  I had so much fun!

Used Black heat embossing powder for the sentiment on a strip of Vellum, sentiment is from the Put Your Party Hats On stamp set from the Simon Says Stamps Monthly kit. As the finished touch I added some sequins around the top layer.

I'll also be submitting my card to participate in this month's #SSSIGChallenge, which focuses on the theme of Ink Blending.

It's an exciting opportunity to showcase my blending techniques alongside other talented creators.
