Polkadoodle Challenge #13 - EaStEr

Hello Bleeps!!!
It's time for another Polkadoodle challenge but this week we have great thing going ont!
We have our regular challenge but we also have a blog hop which is also part of the challenge!! And you know what that means - LOADS of candy!!

CHALLENGE STAGE 1: Now, we know not everyone like to do a hop for whatever reason, so we still have our normal challenge for the week which is EASTER themed - you must make a card or project which is Easter themed.

but there still more.....

CHALLENGE STAGE 2: Our second challenge is the blog hop - if you hop along with us this week you will find that the Easter Bunny arrived early and left some goodies on the Design Teams blogs - but you have to hop though the whole list to find out who the Easter Bunny has visited!

You need to complete both the Easter themed challenge and the blog hop to be in with a chance of winning one of the fantastic prizes on offer!
You need to go to the
challenge blog to see what is on offer but it is fabulous!
There will be one grand prize winner and two second place winners!

And now onto my project for the week!

For my Easter card I've used papers from Sundae Seasons, I wanted to highlight just a portion of the Bunny with color so used green ink and added as if were part of the same image. Then I added the white bow to make it more subtle tone to all the bright green and pink. I've used sentiment from the new Candy Doodles.

Good luck!
If you get stuck, please go back to the
Polkadoodle Challenge blog where you will find the full list of Polkadoodlers. Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog as you pass though!

I'm also adding this to the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday

Post it holder - making your own patterned paper

Hello my Friends!!!
Today I want to show you how to make a
Post it Holder using your own patterned paper made with SP Stamps. Let’s get started:

Gather all your supplies: cut card stock, some patterned paper to mix, post it, inks, SP Stamps, ribbon and pencil.

Then make your patterned paper using your SP Stamps – for mine I chose to use Large Polka dots Background stamp (one of my FAB SP Stamps!) and royal blue ink – then added the sew on the edge from the new release stamp set All Zipped Up with black sepia ink.

Now that I have my patterned paper made I match all the cut pieces, distress the edges and pasted them on my post it template already scored and you will have something like this picture

Tip: before you paste the 2 pieces inside you have to add 2 pieces of ribbon one on each side and then paste the pieces add the post it and the pencil…

After all the pieces are assembly then is time to decorate the outside- I chose to add the sentiment from Ultimate Sentiments II Wish big ‘cause I will have this on my desk at the office and is a friendly reminder that we always have to Wish Big.

You can also add some personalize sentiment of just add your name or the name of the person you are giving it to – sounds like a good gift for co workers? What you think?

Thanks for stopping by!!
