"The Trio" {Take On Christmas Challenge on Instagram}

Welcome to my Blog!
Today is Day #3 of the "Take On Christmas Challenge"  and today is a real challenge for any crafter because is The Trio - meaning that you can only use 3 techniques, 3 papers and 3 embellishments.
 First my FAV Christmas combination: Red & Green, and started by first cutting the bottom border of my card, and adding the red dot designer papers on the back layer of the base card,  I die cut using PTI Holly Jolly dies to cut my green leaves, and then stamped in red the sentiment from Mis Creaciones stamps set: Navidad, die cut the piece using PTI Mat Stack and distress the edges.

I assembly all my pieces together, the mat stack was add it to a piece of white foam to add depth to it and then embellish it using red & white twice and the mini gold bell.
This is one of my FAV card from this year Christmas collection.
You can add a personal message inside.

Personalized Merry Christmas Family sign

Welcome to my Blog!
I am so excited to share with you this Personalized Merry Christmas Family sign; I had so much fun creating this sign.

 I used a medium grain 100% cotton canvas; and with the help of my Silhouette Cameo 3, I cut the Merry Christmas and the Santa's hat using the NEW Red HTV from Angel Craft {can find it at Amazon HERE}; in case you are not familiar with HTV - means HEAT TRANSFER VINYL, which activate with heat adhering to any fabric item.
It is so easy to cut and to weed!!!  Here's a sample:
this is ready to weeding after been cut; couple of thing to have in mind when working with HTV and to have a successfully job.  1.) You  need to cut your design  Mirror image on your Cameo;
2.) Place HTV with glossy side down and matte side up; 3.) Preheat your garment for 2-3 seconds before applying the HTV; 4.) Apply heat to the entire area of the garment of the HTV for 15-20 second per area using firm pressure, not swiping motion. 5.) Peel off clear liner hot or cold when complete.  It sounds long and tedious but it is not! It is so easy!!

I made the white pom pom for the Santa Hat and add the red brads along the side of the family name.  This is a perfect gift for a family or just for your own family to portrait at the door or even on a receving table.   Have you tried using HTV?

Think Outside the Box {Take On Christmas Challenge at Instagram}

Welcome Back!
Today is "Take on Christmas Challenge " and I would like to share with you the lovely card I created using the Freshly Made Sketches of the week.

For my  take on I created a simple and neutral embossed card and use both the embossed and debossed sizes for my card.

This is the  Freshly Made Sketches I used:

http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2018/10/theres-still-time-to-play-with-sketch_20.html
I first embossed the background layer of the card and cut out the ornament and layer on top but slightly to the right, with a few cm in depth, and accent it with some red satin ribbon and a mini gold bell.

I add the red stamped ribbon Merry Christmas and since we can personalized all of you cards; this was not an exception.
