Happiest {Stick It Down}

Hello and Welcome to my Blog!
Today I would like to share with you the card I created for the Stick It Down
April card Sketch.

Here's the sketch:

This month's sponsor is Spiegelmom Scraps

April sponsor
is a specialty sequin mix shop based in Racine, Wisconsin (US).   SMS's owner, Jody, began her love of crafting as a child with her Nana and making coasters with yarn and plastic canvas.  From then on she never looked back and has always been creative.  She's been scrapbooking nearly 20 years and has always loved to sprinkle pretty little details throughout her scrapbook pages.  Jody's love of creating, adding tiny details and sparkle led her to start her business in 2010.  Since then SpiegelMom Scraps has grown, along with Jody's busy family, to a one woman small business with a fabulous design team called the Sparklers.

Here's my card

I made this Birthday card using dies from Papertrey Ink, background from Designer Paper scrap on my desk. The sentiment is from Sketched Flower stamps set from Simon Says stamps, stamped using poppy red ink. Embellishment using die cut leaves and a mini paper flower.

I hope you'll get inspired and get creative and enter your project!

I was inspired by PINK color  and here's my take on

   For this cute card I used Tim Holtz alterations embossing folder for the pink background the designer paper from layer 1 is from Momenta die cut "Hugs" 3 times and glue them together for stiffness; added the whiter ribbon and the mini bow with the pink rhinestone.

Tip: the thickness of the card is from the raised on the embossed layer.

I was inspired by the Rainbow theme . Here's my take on

I had so much fun cutting and arranging my Rainbow.  The colors I used for the rainbow are from scrap from my desk.  I finished off the card with some cute twine and ribbon and some sequins for the shine.

Check out the project from my fellow Design team .

Welcome Baby sign {Eye Connect Crafts}

Hello and Welcome to my Blog!
Today I would like to show you a easy welcome baby sign I created using
Moon & Stars Lace up from Eye Connect Crafts

Lace up: moon & starts

Materials:
acrylic paints of your choice
designer paper
white cardstock
brush
scissors
thread

I cut my base from white cardstock 5"x 7.5" and cut out the center, leaving 1" from each side from the top.  Put aside,  I chose to paint the stars using a variety of shades and the moon I painted white. Be sure to detach the center from the chipboard before painting . It will be more easy to detach from.

after painting, I cover de moon using a piece of designer paper of choice and then using the thread I added the colorful stars, different length each one.  Then using designer papers cut out the words: welcome baby.

I then assembly all of my pieces together and end up with this cute door sign.
Tip: when assembly use foam white tape for a 3d effect.

Your Welcome Baby Moon & Star lace up is finished!
Just add a piece of red ribbon on the back in order to hang it where you like!
