Just a little note.... {Digital Delights}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!
Today I would like to share with you the Side Step Card tutorial I made as Hostess today for Digital Delights.

Here's the step by step for my Side step card:
First you will need:
  • One 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock
  • Scor Pal, or other scoring tool
  • Paper cutter
  • Summer Breeze digital paper pack and ribbon to decorate the card
Step 1:
Take your 5.5" x 8.5" cardstock and line up the short side of the cardstock at 3" in a paper cutter.

 Start at 1" and cut all the way to 6 1/2"

Step 2:
Score the 2 1/2" wide section of the card at 4 1/4" and then Score the 3" wide section at 1", 2", 3 1/4", 4 1/2" and 6 1/2".
Step 3:
Fold the score line at 4 1/4" down
Fold the first score line on the right hand side of the card down (mountain fold), fold the second fold up (valley fold) and keep going until you have something like this.

Then finish your card and decorate

and your card will be finished and ready to mail!
Have fun making your own....

Happy Birthday {Dies R Us}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!
Today I would like to share a Inspirational card I made for a friend who's birthday is coming up.  I was so excited with all of my new dies and did not know which one to use so I choose to use my new Chandra Stem die from Memory Box to make my card.

 I die cut the Chandra Stem twice on the top white layer without pulling it out of the layer, I used scrap papers from the clutter on my desk. Add the ribbon, yellow sequins and the clear rhinestones.
I love the outcome of this cute and simple Birthday card!

Please be sure to take a minute and check out all the fabulous dies available at the Dies R Us Store!  AND, don't forget we have a Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  A fun new challenge is offered on the 1st and 15th of each month with a PRIZE VOUCHER offered to one lucky winner each challenge.  It could be YOU!

Thinking of you! {Dies R Us}

Hello everyone
Today I would like to share my first creation on Dies R Us blog!
I made this lovely but sweet card for my BFF who lost her grandma recently, a card just to remind her that I am here for her.
All papers used are from my scrap clutter. Used my FAV Lunette Butterfly Die from Memory Box and the cutest DIE 152-N from Impression Obsession. I've always wanted to make a diagonal cut out card but since it was out of my comfort zone I was afraid to try it..... but today I did!! and I Love the delicate sweetness of the Die cut border is so simple but yet so delicate!

 I didn't want the card to be so neutral so I die cut Lunette butterfly using aqua cardstock and stamped the clear stamp "Thinking of you" sentiment using black memento ink. To accent it a bit more added the clear rhinestone and lime hologram sequin.  I really love the outcome of this card!!
