Season's Greetings {Scrapy Land Challenge #46}

Hello and Welcome to a New Scrapy Land Challenge!
The theme for this challenge is "Embossing"
+ the use of any of the 40 brands of dies that the store carries.

I've started doing my Christmas card early this year and this one is one of my all times favorite, I have made it in all color combinations possible and amazes me every time.
 Here's my card:

all papers are from the stash on my desk, used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Small Rectangle, to die cut the square used on the tops layers. One red and one recycle, I made the embossed background using my ScorPal. On the top layer I stamped using black ink the ornament holders from PTI stamp set and then added the big red rhinestone and to accent it a bit more added the bow using satin ribbon. What do you think about this lovely Christmas card?

Be sure to visit the Scrapy Land Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team has created.  You won't be disappointed.  Go ahead and upload your project.  The winner, chosen by the Design Team, will receive a $15 gift certificate to go shopping at Scrapy Land.

Warm Wishes {Dies R Us]

Hello and Welcome to my blog!!
 I have been playing around making Christmas cards and got my newest dies  from Dies R Us. And I could not resist to use them to share one of my CAS Xmas cards I made.
I used the Snowflake Collage and Warm Wishes Border from Memory Box .
Here's my card:

I first die cut the Snowflake Collage using pearlized snow white cs and then cut a piece of navy blue cs and add it to the back of the first pearlized layer. Left a irregular cut at the bottom of the first layer so you could see a small border of the navy blue and also see it thru the snowflakes cut out.
I cut out Warm Wishes Border using red cs and instead of layout it out horizontally I layered out vertically from top to bottom. I was not sure at first but when I see it presented, I love it!
Everything was layered on the white card base and embellish it using some clear rhinestones to the snowflakes. I love the CAS of the design on this card and all the ideas that came to my mind while creating the card... I know have like a hundred ideas to use this same dies.

This are the dies that I used from Dies R Us:

I hope you look around and check all the great Dies that we carry!!

Nativity Bell Card {Dies R Us}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!!
Back on the Dies R Us Blog with another cute project I would like to share with you
I am already  making my Christmas cards and this time this Dies R Us die was just perfect!
 And today I would like to share a very special one that I made using the Nativity Bell  from Tutti Designs and Snowflake Collage from Memory Box  .

Here's my card:

Here's how I create this lovely card!  I first die cut the Nativity Bell  using navy blue cs and then cut all around a pearled light blue cs and layered on top the navy die cut. Let my share a tip with you guys.... did you now that you can use your Dies R Us as to emboss on your same as you would use your embossing folder ... well so I used my Snowflake Collage to emboss my white card, used it twice. I like the soft look on it! it seems like the cs came like that. On my white base card front. I added some silver sequins and clear rhinestones to the base and on top of the Star of the Bell. I layered the Nativity Bell die cut on top of the base using some dimensional foam. Cut the right top corner.  I love this card, this is my first Nativity Bell christmas card but sure it will not be my last!

Here's a closer look of the embossed card front: (sorry the pictures do not give the proper credit)
