Handmade Floral Card with Embossing and Die Cutting | Color Dare Challenge #698
Welcome back Peeps!!
Today I want to share with you this beautiful Handmade Floral card I created as part of the design team for the Color Dare Challenge #698
This is the color pallete
For my card I combine dry embossing and die cutting techniques to create an elegant, clean, and textured design.
I started with a white A2 card base and a white panel to created the soft pink panel dry embossed using Spring Stripes Embossing Folder with a botanical pattern and Cotton Candy, Bubble Gum and Pale tomate Dye Inks creating subtle depth without overwhelming the composition.
I die cut an arch frame from white cardstock and raised it using foam adhesive for added dimension. Then, using die cuts, I cut the floral elements from soft green cardstock, combining different shapes to create movement and visual balance.
Before adhering, I arranged everything first to ensure a harmonious layout and preserve negative space for a clean, refined look.
Finally, I added the sentiment “I’m so glad we’re friends” on a white strip, integrating it with the floral elements for a cohesive finish. The result is a delicate and emotional card, perfect for celebrating friendship, where every detail highlights the beauty of handmade work.
