Spellbinders | Vivid Expressions | Happy Birthday + Happy Anniversary
Hello my friends! I have a gorgeous new collection to share with you today from Spellbinders. I created two die-cut projects to share with you using new products from the Vivid Expressions Collection.
** All product links for the products shown in my cards today can be found at the bottom of this post. Affiliates links were used where applicable at no extra cost to you. **
My first card features the beautiful new Blooming Butterflies 3D Cut & Emboss Folder. This card was super fun and easy to make! I started off by first embossing the flower and leaves using my Big Shot cutting machine. I used Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to emboss my images, but any light card stock that is good with ink-blending will work.
I then added color to my flower and leaves by blending them with Distress Inks. Cut the Eyelet Scallop Border Etched Dies one using pink cardstock and one on my card base. Using black ink use Ideal Moments Press Plate & Die Set also from the Vivid Expressions Collection, and added Happy Birthday to the side on top of the pink border of the bottom border of the card. And to finished it and to add some sparkle added some gold sequins to the center and to the angle on the top layer of the card.
My second card features the Vivid Blooms Die Set along with the gorgeous Eyelet Scallop Border Etched Dies Set. I think this border die is absolutely stunning and love the gorgeous detail on it. I die cut all of my pieces from colored card stock and then adhered them to my card base with either 3D foam tape or liquid adhesive depending on which items I wanted popped up or not. Used vellum paper for the Butterfly and again using the Ideal Press Plate and die set this time using gold ink, I inked and die cut the sentiment Happy Aniversary for the front and finished up my second card.
